Niners Head Coach Jim Harburgh was going crazy going after the game and it must of rubbed salt in the wound of losing the game of the Lions Head Coach Jim Schwartz and Jim Harburgh decided to kick a field goal with a minute left and expanded the Niners lead of 3 points to 6 points which was a little of an interesting decision. So Harburgh and Schwartz had to be separated and all the players were in a small area around the entrances and nobody moved and the security had to get the Niners into their locker room before letting the Lions into their lock room but there were no punches thrown and Schwartz was as far away from Harburgh but Harbaugh did not have a hard time to get under the skin of the Lions after falling behind 10 - 0.
during a game between one of the only two undefeated teams in the Detroit Lions hosting the 4 and 1 niners and it was extremely defensive game with a few big plays like two Frank Gore runs of 47 yards and 55 yards while Detroit got two long pass receptions from Chris Johnson of 41 yards and Jahvid Best of 32 yards. The Lions had a quick 10 - 0 lead and Niners Head coach Jim Harbugh tried to challenge the TD that put the Lions ahead 10-0 and was given a 15 yard delay of game penalty because all TDs are automatically reviewed and it was to slow down the Lions momentum and it worked as Frank Gore had a 1 yard run. then midway through the second quarter Matthew Stafford was sacked in the end zone to make it 10-9 and with under 2 minutes left in the half Jason Hanson missed a 52 yard field goal with a minute left and the Niners went down the field and David Ackers kicked a 55 yard field goal on the last play of the half to give the Niners a 12-10 lead. With less than 13 minutes left in the game Matthew Stafford found Nate Burleson at the back of the end zone and was challenged and called a TD and the Lions were up 19-15 and the game came down to the second play after the 2 minute warning which was a fourth and goal from the sixth yard line of the Lions where Niners QB found Alex Smith found Delanie Walker who battled into the end zone to score the winning TD as the Lions went out and went four plays and did not get a first.
