tim and sid return back home to the score
As some may know and some may not know that Rogers communication last August put a bid in to buy the Score Television Network and the government of Canada stepped in to review the purchase and today they decided that it was OK for Rogers to have the score TV.
So with Rogers now owning the Score TV they have more air time to fill like they did not have enough with all the Sportsnet channels and some wise guy at Rogers said hay why don't we put the Tim and Sid show on the score. So starting tomorrow Tim and Sid who basically built the Score brand with their own hands between 1997 and late 2011 will be heading back to the score as a Rogers employees by putting their radio program on TV so they can be seen on the Score from 1-4 PM Monday-Friday as well as being heard still on Rogers Sportsnet 590, the fan at the same time.
It will be like Bob McCown on Sportsnet one when he is not taken off for bowling or something but much funnier as Tim and Sid are somewhat going home but not really as they are still Rogers employees and are the fan content first and fore most.
They have hinted at getting some former friends who are friends again on with them so some names that come to mind first and fore most is the raging Red head Cam Stewart and Sid's look-a-like Greg Sanone but the guy that most people who listened to the original show on the score Timandsid uncut like me want to see and hear is the one and only Ryan Haines.
It will be like thieir old TV show score tonight except that it will be longer with more edutainment and no highlights.
It is a great day having the score and tim and sid getting remarried

Brain Burke suing the unknown
After Brian Burke was released from his duties as the GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs in January and went to become a scout for the Anaheim Ducks it turns out that 18 unknown people commented that Burke had an affair and was the baby daddy of Sportsnet announcer Hazel Mae.
So Burke has decided to go after these 18 people who wrote the comments and flied a lawsuit in BC to try and change the face of unanimous comments from message boards and the like which is a good idea but it maybe a pointless exercise because with uncharted urls and numbers being the only leads and the urls and numbers change everytime they log in and post something so they maybe unable to be found.
I really hope that the whole internet comment posting gets serious and legit so that these keyboard cowboys disappear as they would be able to be unanimous and having to put their name on it and have a tracing system that allows people to own up to their comments. I do not know why people would want to deface people and hurt them for no reason other than for their own amusement.
I write about my thoughts and I put my name on it and only tell the truth and would never say something like that because Burke needs to humbled but not like this as it ruin families and weeks do not go by without hearing about cyber bullying that sadly turns into a suicide victim because they can not handle the hurtful words.
I wish that people would be nicer to each other because u may not agree with someone but there is a right and wrong way to get your point across

Jason Collins makes a brave decision
Jason Collins who is 12 season veteran of the NBA decided that today he would put all his cards on the table as he announced that he was gay and in that became the first active athlete in one of the four major sports in north american (NBA,MLB,NHL,OR NFL).
What does this really mean is:
one that are gay athletes in North American sports which is a simply a no brainer as there are people in a walks of life that have decided to have a relationship with their own sex and it is that athletes are too scared of what their teammates and opponents will react to the news.
Two that the 34-year-old Jason Collins career in the NBA is over as he played with the Washington Wizards this season and I will be shocked if the Wizards or any other team in the NBA will be willing to have an openly gay player on their team which will mean that he will need to head to Europe if he wants to continue his basketball career.
Third is that he is a very brave man trying to make it better for other athletes to not have to hide their personal life from their friends and hopefully do what Jackie Robinson did for baseball 66 years ago for blacks in baseball.
Collins should be thanked and congratulated for try to be trend setter for other athletes

CM Punk carries Taker to the match of mania
CM Punk and the Undertaker had the best build up with Paul Bearer death in the middle of the build and Punk carried Taker to the best match because Punk is a very strong worker and Taker is a lot older than he once was.
So the match was about going for finishers and having the other reverse it or kicked out of the go to sleep or the tombstone or choke slam and Punk during the match tried and hit Takers close line and hit it twice and the RIP sign with the thumb across the throat. So ringside they had both Paul Heyman and HBK there and near the end of the match HBK came into the ring and took out Heyman as the Ref was out and Heyman throw the urine to Punk and he hit Taker with it and then put it by the stair before pinning Taker who kicked out at two grabbed Punk by the throat and choked slammed him to hell for the victory. Also during the match Punk went off the top rope with the Macho elbow and the second time it was on the Spanish announce table and it did not break because the table knew that it was supposed to break during the Trips and Brock match.
The crowd was the most excited for this match as most of the night crowd was sleeping with a little excitement for Del Rio and Swagger match but by the end they wanted Ziggler who would not come to the ring and cash in and did not win the tag titles which was big surprise but the biggest surprises were in living color played Punk to the ring and Mark Henry pinned Reyback clean.
If the WWE was smart they would of moved Henry/Reyback til later in the night and put Taker/Punk last because they went Taker/Punk, Trips/Brock, and Rock/Cena back-to-back-to-back and that horrible. Cena beat Rock so the crowd went home not as happy Cena was not a fan favorite and it was just very strange way of doing thing.
Brock did a RIP sign during his match so maybe Taker/Brock in New Orleans for Mania 30

Sidney Crosby not to be ready for the playoffs
Sidney Crosby was hit in the mouth by a flying puck off the stick of teammate Brooks Orpik that charged direction and caught the "KID" under his visor but Penguins GM Ray Shero says that Crosby's jaw was not wired shut and that maybe go for recovery time.
The Penguins I am pretty sure that Crosby will miss the first round of the playoffs as they have only four weeks til the end of the regular season which ends at the end of April and it should take at least 6 weeks to heal his jaw and the Penguins are hoping that he will be healthy to start the playoffs.
I do not trust the Penguins medical staff as the Simpson's Dr. Nick has had more credibility than the Penguins medical staff over the last few years and yes I know that they have new people in charge of the health of the Penguins players but I still think they will mess this up and it will become a lingering injury just like his concussion issues.
It is a good thing that the Penguins have dived head first into the trade seas picking up Brandon Morrow, Jerome Iginla, and even Douglas Murray as Crosby not only one to likely miss the beginning of this season's playoffs as they be missing Paul Martin for the next 4-6 weeks with a broken bone in his hand. They are still without Kris Letang who was placed on IR with a lower body injury and will be a question mark for quite a while but on a good note they have gotten back Evgeni Malkin this past Thursday and has a point in each of his first two games back.
The Penguins with their new pieces in the lineup for the last 12 games of the regular season (the last quarter) it will be interesting
