why mlb players do not trust their owners

Since the 2016 off season (going into 2017) owners refused to give free agents over 30 big contracts so the big money deals to finish their career and had to take 1-3 years deal for much less per season or wait til the season started to get like 20 million for the season. If the players is lucky a second season option (usually a team and player option so if one party wants out the second year is scarped).  This is a huge problem for players because if they reach the majors in their mid-20's they r under team control until they r over 30. The players r not free agents until after 7th major league season during which time a player has 3 years of pre-arbitration where they r given what the team wants to give them (400k-500k most likely). Then 3 years arbitration  meaning a player gives a salary for the next season (a high salary) and the team gives a salary for the next season (a low salary) then a judge listens to each side and usually cuts the difference and the player the middle #. The middle season (year 4) can either b a pre or arbitration year depending how their second major league season goes 78% get pre and 22% get arbitration.

Player have been pissed since signing agreeing to the last collective bargained agreement in late 2016 and there was a lot of talk that mlbpa front man tony clark was going 2 lose his job. Four years later players r not going b screwed again a year away from needing a new cba players r looking for less team control so they can get the money they fell they deserve.

Now players also fell they agreed to terms on a covid 2020 season in march and the owners r misremembering that and wanting to pay half their pro rated contract and another 20% if they award the world series this season. Players r looking at a 2-thirds of a season while owners want less than half of a regular season. Players really want 2 c what these clubs r making and owners do not want 2 show them their books.

mlb compared to other sports r really hurting with horrible tv # along with empty stands and an average fanbase in the mid 50s.

Also in a time where most leagues in north america r setting up shop in 1 or 2 isolated spots baseball wants to travel to as many ballpark as possible is simply crazy in this crazy times we r living in.

nfl on racist actions means more than words

the NFL owners and commissioner Rodger Goodell has changed their opinion on racialism and r saying “We, the NFL, believe Black Lives Matter,”. This a response to a great video by their players who have not changed their opinion as they held hands and taking a knee in 2016.

In 2016 Donald Trump saw or most likely a football player was taken a knee during the national anthem and said he was anti-American and not b playing. The player Colin Kaepernick became a free agent after the season and to the wishes of Donald he not get signed by any team and only got a tryout nearly 3 years later.

The league listening to their players is means nothing when u look @ a league made up 70% black players when going into the 2020 season there is 4 black head coaches (12.5%) and 2 general managers (6.25%).

The bottom line is this if the NFL do not want the words that r coming out of their mouth to b hallow then when u r hiring someone for a position in your leadership group (coaches general manager president) interview more than 2 black head coaches and 1 for general manager and president of the team. If the qualified black person is best person hire them if they r second still give them the chance to show if they r able to get the job done.

wwe tradition continues as release wrestlers and personal

So the WWE brought the ax down on a ton of employees (wrestlers, announcers, writers, trainers, and referees).

Even though it is normal for the wwe to do some spring cleaning it is just not the time for it. with The virus going around the world is making it impossible to work and earn a paycheck and wwe does not need to do it right now as they have enough floating around titan towers (wwe headquarters) to keep everybody under contract.

The main reason for this cutting the roster thing is the stock holders who r not happy with their returns on their stocks because they used wwe money to cover the loss of the xfl which basically folded last week y firing everybody. They r doing this to make themselves more profitable to the stock holders and hope their stock on the new York stock exchange rebounds after the stock tanked.

everybody in the wwe lost money @ WrestleMania with no live IN person audience as it is like Christmas for the wrestlers  as they get nice bonuses that allow the lower to mid-card wrestlers to support their families. Wrestlers pay for traveling the world to entertain the wwe universe along with car rentals and hotels. The wwe themselves would a great profit so Vince, Linda, Stephanie, and triple h can live lavish lifestyles as they own the wwe.

Getting to the actual wrestlers the revival who one of them was released last week  have been wanting out of wwe for atleast a year and the other was not released because his contract was up. The revival wanted to go to rival wrestling company aew and wwe released the wrestler now is because aew just recorded 2 months of tv days before so they will not be signed for a while. Wrestlers also headed to aew at some point r Luke gallows and Karl Anderson and these releases feel very Pedy.

Then there is Zach ryder who had been with the company for 14 years and he did everything to make himself popular especially with his youtube  Z! True Long Island Story which made him real popular but wwe did not want to use him. Zach fiance is still with the company as chelsea green is with nxt which said they have seperated them professionally. He might comeback 2 nxt in the future as teacher of how to do an interview as he is good at wrestle talking and would b good @ teaching the younger wrestlers. Sara logan is professionly being seperated from her husband Erik of the viking experience and most likely headed 2 the weak aew women division but not now.

Rusev and his wife lana r professionally seperated and he may head 2 ring of honor or impact wrestling.

Deonna Purrazzo was brought in because wwe was hoping 2 get her real life boyfriend marty scrll but it did not happen he stayed with ring of honor and probably aew. Deonna will b very good in aew as before women division is weak and Deonna is very good and was used as a wrestler very often.

It is sad so many people were released and most of the rest will b headed 2 the indies but when promotions will b running and Kurt Angle will get a legend contract.

major league baseball has a problem(s)

major league baseball has problems including average age of a baseball fan is in the mid-50s, length of games (soxs/yanks 9 innings over 4 hours), tv ratings (world series games r getting longer and longer and tv# r getting smaller and smaller0.

that all said until a few weeks I felt that the 2017 Astros starting 9 almost all hitting 300 and above was amazing. So patient at the plate 🍽 was awesome and wished my home side Toronto blue jays were more like them instead of trying to hit the ball 400 ft on every pitch but now we know that they had some from trash cans. At least it was only 2 guys responsible alex cora and Adrián Beltré (ya right) that ruined the dream of fair baseball ⚾  games and that Astros were best in 2017 and Red Sox were best in 2018 and that the la dodgers were a very talented team with a huge payroll.

So for years I felt the better team just had more players on PEDs and that is why they saw the ball better or the strike zone better. Be able to crush baseballs like 400 ft 40 50 times a season or throw a ⚾ a 100 miles per hour or run like the wind. All things that r unnatural in my option and I just understood it and lived with it because as a sports fan it is apart of the game.

Now as we have been learning the last few weeks that the Astros and then the Red Soxs used the video room to get ahead of the game and as the league was not watching them for 162 games (unsupervised).

I did not see it coming but like kevin garnett famously told us anything is possible so I was not surprised.

So to think it was only the Astros and then cora took what he learned and took it 2 boston would b foolish.

So baseball needs to have an extra ump on every ump crew that just sits in the video control at each stadium so that there is no hanky or panky going on with sigh stealing other than a guy on base figuring and telling the batter that is fair.

Also major league baseball 7 pm locally is a good time to start a game for 162 games so do it in the playoffs so kids can watch a few innings before bed and maybe they will like your product and stick around and becoming a paying customer.
