MMVA - Selena Gomez had a awkward night and Lady Gaga opened and closed the show

Selena Gomez had an awkward night as she need to basically deliver scripted lines which made it odd and uncomfortable interactions and when she had to talk with Colin Farrell by the end of the conversation Selena wished she was Alex Russo and use some magic to make herself disappear or not be able to listen to Colin. When Colin and Selena introduced the first award of the evening which was best Canadian internationally artist (ie best outside of Canada Canadian artist) and it turned out to be a tie with Drake and Justin Bieber and Drake was beside Selena and realized it and which places with Bieber so Bieber could be beside his real life girlfriend in Selena Gomez and he introduced himself to Selena and then he said we should go out on a date and Selena kept quiet as she did not want to bring more attention to their relationship. Then at the end of the show just before Lady Gaga's big finale Selena was talking to Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder both of Vampire Diaries and tried to get info on the third season of the show and they would not talk about it but then they announced the viewers choice award for favorite artist that Justin Bieber won and Nina had Selena announced because as she said U might know this guy. Lady Gaga opening number was lame and her closer number of born this way where she was a black bird in a cleat egg was interesting and by the end of the performance she was in her bra but see her greenish/blueish hair was awful. The music performances were good especially seeing Snoop with far east movement was nice but it is sad to see how far Snoop voice has been destroyed by the years of drinking and drugs and then having FeFe Dobson singing with Simple Plain along with Selena coming out in a princess dress to do her performance and it was good. Also Bruno Mars dressed up with his hair slicked back and in a suit like back in the 1950's for just the way U R but the down fall of the show was the shelling that Much Music did for their programs like Vampire Dairies, Pretty little liars, and Make It or Break It along with all the presenters having something to sell.

It was a good show the music performances were nice to hear

The Stanley Cup Final - Canucks roller coaster playoffs scratch to a car crash as it is a tail of two goalies

So Roberto Luongo had a very interesting playoffs as he was 15-10 in the playoffs and in he was unbeatable in most of his 15 wins but if most of the losses he could not stop a beach ball as he gave up as he gave up 5 goals in the first 3 games of the Chicago series to help the Canucks take a 3-0 lead but then in the next 2 games he was completely shelled and pulled in both games as he gave up 10 goals on 40 shots which is a 75% save percentage and then was benched for game 6 until Cory Schneider got hurt and he lost the game in overtime and then came back in game 7 and won it 2-1. Then he cruised into the Stanley Cup final and going into game 7 he had 3 games at home all wins (1-0, 3-2, 1-0) and 3 road games all losses (8-1, 4-0 pulled in the third, and 5-2 and lasted 8:35 and up 3 goals on 8 shots) but in game 7 back at home and coaching mistake put the Canucks behind the eight ball as the face off man got kicked out of the face off circle and the Canucks lost the draw with a non face off guy taking the face off and before they knew it the Bruins were ahead 1-0 as Patrice Bergeron scored his first of two in the game. Then Brad Marchand in the second made it 2-0 and the final nail went into the Canucks coffin when they finally got a power play but instead of cutting the Bruins lead in half Patrice Bergeron scored his second of the game shorthanded to make it 3-0. In the third period Brad Marchand put insult to injury with his 11 goal of the playoffs and second of the game to make the final 4-0 and Tim Thomas who was a back-up last season to Tuka Rask after an unbelievable season where he was best goal in the NHL. This season he put it all back together this season as her was the best goal for most of the regular season and then Bruins all the way to the Stanley Cup as in the Canadiens series the Bruins were down 2-0 and won 3 straight making 112 saves on 119 shots including a 44 save performance on 45 shots in game 5 and then in the deciding game 7 he stopped 34 of 37 shots to help the Bruins win 4 of 5 games. In the Flyers series the Bruins had no problem but Tim Thomas did have a 52 on 54 save performance to help the Bruins in game 2 on there way to a 4 game sweep and then he faced the Lightening and had a 31 save shutout and 33 of 34 performance in 2 of the Bruins 3 wins heading into another deciding game 7 where he had a 24 save shutout in a 1-0 victory to go into the finals. In the finals Game 1 made 33 saves on 34 shots in a 1-0 loss where the only goal of the game was scored in the final minute of regulation and then in game 2 stopped 30 of 33 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss. In the 2 games in Boston he stopped 78 of 79 shots as the Bruins outscored the Canucks 12-1 to even the series and then in game 5 made 24 of 25 saves in a 1-0 loss and in game 6 made 36 of 38 saves in a 5-2 victory to force a deciding game 7 for all the marbles where he made all 37 saves in the 4-0 and was named the Stanley Cup MVP.

So the Bruins win their first since '72 and the Canucks are still waiting for their first in their 40 year history

Dirk Nowitzki named NBA championship MVP as the mavericks win their first NBA championship

Game 1 - The Mavericks had a horrible shooting game with 37.3 % shooting but were up 51-43 5 minutes into the third quarter and then the Heat outscored the Mavericks 49-33 in the last 17 minutes of the game. The triplets scored 65 points for the Heat with James scoring 24 points, Wade scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Bosh had 19 points in the game while Dirk had 27 points in the game including 10 points in the fourth but he also tearing a finger tendon.

Game 2 - With just over 6 minutes left in the game Dwayne Wade danced in front of the Mavericks bench as he had put the Heat up 88-73 and then the Maverick went on a 20-2 run to make it 93-90 Mavericks and then Mario Chalmers hit a 3-ball to tie the game @ 93. Then Dirk Nowitzki hit a left handed shot including his finger tendon to finish off him scoring the last 9 points for the Mavericks and he had 24 points and 11 rebounds while Dwayne led everybody with 36 points but his dancing motivated the Mavericks to even the series @ 1 going back to Dallas.

Game 3 - Chris Bosh hit the winning shot with 39.6 left in the game while Dwayne Wade scored 7 straight points before this point and he had 29 points in the game while Bosh scored 18 points, and Lebron scored 17 points. The Mavericks were down 55-42 and then went on a 17-3 run to take a 59-58 lead with Dirk scoring 34 points including 12 straight Mavericks points and it was tied at 84 but with the Heat up 88-86 he missed a buzzer beater bucket that would of tied the game and send it to overtime. Heat up 2-1

Game 4 - Dirk had a 101 degrees fever and the Heat were up 74-65 with just over 10 minutes left in the game and with the help of Jason Terry who scored the first 4 points of the run and had 6 points and Dirk had 8 of the points in this stage of the game of his 21 points and Terry hit the finally 2 free throws to put up the Mavericks 86-83 and had 17 points in the game. The Heat were lead by 32 points and Bosh had 24 points but it was LeBron James was 3 for 11 from the floor in the game. The series tied @ 2

Game 5 - The Mavericks were leading 88-81 but then the Heat went on a 18-7 run which was capped off by a Wade 3-ball to give the Heat a 99-95 lead in just over 4 minutes with Wade having a team leading 23 points even after having a collision with Brian Cardinal and went in and out of the game but it was LeBron with his triple-double as he had 17 points, 10 boards, and 10 assists and Bosh had 19 points and 10 boards. The Mavericks ended the game on a 17-4 run to win 112-103 which was finished off by Jason Terry who hit a 3-ball with 33.3 left to cap off the game as he had 21 points and 6 assists off the bench while the Mavericks went 13 of 19 from 3 to lead them to the victory but they were still lead by Dirk with 29 points. Mavericks lead 3-2

Game 6 - Jason Terry lead the Mavericks to the championship as he scored 27 points and Dirk was only shoot 9 for 27 from the floor but scored 10 of his 21 point in the fourth quarter as the Mavericks won 105-95 to win the championship with 11 3s. The Heat were lead by James who scored 21 points, Bosh scored 19 points, and Wade scored 17 points in a losing cause as they went 20 of 33 from the line. Mavericks win 4-2

Dirk Nowitzki was award the MVP for the finals as he was the one leading the team in most games but it was Jason Terry who was the number 2 guy and was reasonable for the Mavericks winning the championship as he was very good at supporting Dirk as if it was not for him the Heat could of taking down Dirk and keep the trophy in south beach. Dirk ran quietly to the locker room to celebrate the victory while Mark Cuban was celebrating on the court after the game and was jumping up and down on the sidelines late in the game which leads to David Stern problem which will be trying to get the trophy back from Mark Cuban as I do not know if he will give it up. Mark Cuban will be going off for the whole summer about winning the championship as he learn keep his mouth shut during the playoffs and let the play on the court speak for itself and now it is his turn to speak and will love it.

Jason Terry and Dirk Nowitzki are the only 2 players left on the Mavericks from the NBA championship loss to the heat and Dwayne Wade in 2006

Philadelphia Flyers may of found a goalie and this is not a recording

For the millions time in over a quarter of a century since the death in a car crash of Pelle Lindbergh on November 12th, 1985 who had put the Flyers in position to try and win the cup and then Ron Hextall but since it has been a disaster to say the least ever since. Yes Michael Leighton did help the Flyers make the finals in the 2010 Stanley Cup. This past post season of 2011 playoff they used 3 goalies without real trust in Micheal Leighton, Brian Boucher, and Sergei Bobrovsky and head coach Peter Laviolette had such a quick hook on all three of them. Ilya Bryzgalov won 36 and lost 20 and overtime losses 10 with a save percentage .921 and goals against average 2.48 in the NHL 2010-11 regular season and the upcoming regular season the Flyers should be a very good team with the talent they have upfront of DANNY BRIERE, MICHAEL RICHARDS, JEFF CARTER, CLAUDE GIROUX, SCOTT HARTNELL , and with the timely goal DANIEL CARCILLO. The defense is a little long in the tooth with CHRIS PRONGER, SEAN O'DONNELL,and KIMMO TIMONEN all over the age of 35 and with the goaltending tandem of Ilya Bryzgalov and Sergei Bobrovsky.

It still come down to the playoffs and Ilya Bryzgalov unlike in Phoenix he will not need to stand on his head but instead he will need to make the key save to keep the team in a low scoring game or a scoreless game to give the high powered offense the opportunity to put the playoff game in the win column. He will have less shots on net than in Phoenix and will be under the microscope a little bit because Flyers fans are as crazy about their Flyers as people on Manitoba will be about their team and he did not want to give up his privacy to go to Manitoba and he is coming off one of the worst playoff performances against the Red Wings over the last 2 playoffs as he had a GAA of 3.44 in 2010 with save percentage of .906 in a 7 game loss and even worse GAA of .436 and a save percentage of .879 in a 4 game sweep to the Red Wings in 2011.

We will see if Bryzgalov has what it takes in the playoffs for the Flyers
