Philadelphia Flyers may of found a goalie and this is not a recording

For the millions time in over a quarter of a century since the death in a car crash of Pelle Lindbergh on November 12th, 1985 who had put the Flyers in position to try and win the cup and then Ron Hextall but since it has been a disaster to say the least ever since. Yes Michael Leighton did help the Flyers make the finals in the 2010 Stanley Cup. This past post season of 2011 playoff they used 3 goalies without real trust in Micheal Leighton, Brian Boucher, and Sergei Bobrovsky and head coach Peter Laviolette had such a quick hook on all three of them. Ilya Bryzgalov won 36 and lost 20 and overtime losses 10 with a save percentage .921 and goals against average 2.48 in the NHL 2010-11 regular season and the upcoming regular season the Flyers should be a very good team with the talent they have upfront of DANNY BRIERE, MICHAEL RICHARDS, JEFF CARTER, CLAUDE GIROUX, SCOTT HARTNELL , and with the timely goal DANIEL CARCILLO. The defense is a little long in the tooth with CHRIS PRONGER, SEAN O'DONNELL,and KIMMO TIMONEN all over the age of 35 and with the goaltending tandem of Ilya Bryzgalov and Sergei Bobrovsky.

It still come down to the playoffs and Ilya Bryzgalov unlike in Phoenix he will not need to stand on his head but instead he will need to make the key save to keep the team in a low scoring game or a scoreless game to give the high powered offense the opportunity to put the playoff game in the win column. He will have less shots on net than in Phoenix and will be under the microscope a little bit because Flyers fans are as crazy about their Flyers as people on Manitoba will be about their team and he did not want to give up his privacy to go to Manitoba and he is coming off one of the worst playoff performances against the Red Wings over the last 2 playoffs as he had a GAA of 3.44 in 2010 with save percentage of .906 in a 7 game loss and even worse GAA of .436 and a save percentage of .879 in a 4 game sweep to the Red Wings in 2011.

We will see if Bryzgalov has what it takes in the playoffs for the Flyers
