WWE Network is welcomed to canada August 12

So in two weeks Canada will get the pleasure that the US has had for almost 6 month as the Network is coming to a cable and satellite provider on August 12, 2014. It will be a specialty channel on rogers 512 as part of another TV deal with Rogers sportsnet 360 which extends the current that would of run out at the end of the year for another hopefully exciting 10 years through 2024. 360 will continue airing Raw and Smackdown live and will now include Main Event instead of NXT (now on the network) and keeps Bell's paws (TSN) off of wrestling for at least another decade. This comes about because the WWE decision to put Mania on the network has extremely back fired as Mania means that the network would need one million subscribers to break even and have fallen quite a bit short at 700,000 and losing money hand or fist. This that my man Vincent Kennedy McMahon is no longer a Billionaire and that wrestlers are looking around trying to figure where there next paycheck and making sure it is not a pink slip or walking away like A,J, Lee's husband (CM Punk)or going into early retirement like Santino. So the network in Canada will be a bit different than the states and it's not only price (maybe 12 or 14 and 99 cents) it going straight to TV u do not need it hooked into your xbox live but will still have the live events and PPV but will also have the ondemand stuff. Now it is also going to be a part of Rogers any place tv app and it will get going with a free preview on August 12 and it will get the WWE NETWORK closer to a million but not quite. Hopefully Canadian are satisfied with the \network as the American and maybe Mania goes back to the old fashion PPV in the coming years as an once a year thing that satellite and cable companies will gladly pickup. Now how to get Raw or Smackdown back to Toronto Tom mehegan

Bills moving in 2020 and what could it mean to the city of Buffalo

The Buffalo Bills are going to get new ownership as they do not have an owner and it is unlikely that the team will be staying in the Wing city. Whoever gets the team will keep the team in town until 2020 as the price to the move the team before and after 2020 in the 10 year deal will be way too high but in year 7 (2020) the cost to move the team is a very easy to swallow 27 million dollars (US). So who will get the team could be Terrence Pegula, Thomas Golisano, a Jim Kelly group, and even Jon Bon Jovi want the team but in the end the team just like selling a house will go to the highest bidder. This is because the only Wilson who cared for the team was Ralph so his family does not care what happens to the team they just love the movie Jerry Maguire as in "show me the money". In 2020 the could move: To LA which is a city that have massive tv revenue opportunities and all 32 teams have a good group of fans in LA as people come from all over the country to live in LA. To England as it is a untapped revenue and would have the largest interest in a NFL team and would likely fill a very large stadium and get behind their own team just like they come out in huge numbers for the Jacksonville Jaguars games who play a few games a season in England. To Toronto it will not be the greatest crowd because Toronto comes up with huge excuses to not do anything except for that hockey team called the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Toronto bidders will have huge pockets but will need to fix that built in excuse of not being able to tailgate i.e. carry around open beers as people are not allowed to walk around the streets of Toronto with open beers just like in Vancouver during the 2010 games. To me I fill that Toronto would be the best choice as it is close to Buffalo so it would have stay close to its home just like having the Buffalo Braves playing games at Maple Leafs Gardens. The owners that move the Bills to Toronto will handle the Toronto Argos with kid gloves as the NFL would not like the death of the CFL on their hands. It will be interesting where the Bills will play in 2020 Tom Mehegan

Spike not renewing TNA and kills the company

Spike TV has decided to not renew TNA when the TNA contract is up at the end of September or early October and if they can not get another deal with another cable station. It looks like the breaking point was when Vince Russo mistakenly sent a tweet to the wrong person which told the world that Russo was in charge of TNA. This was bad for TNA as they were hiding the reality that he was back and they needed to hide it from Spike because like any true wrestling they did not want anything to do with him and did not trust him. Spike and TNA were negotiating a new contract on good terms and Spike just wanted to take it to the very last second to get the lowest price but then Friday meeting happened and two days later TMZ and others have leaked the news that the negotiations have ended. It maybe a tactic to get the lowest price so Spike maybe keep TNA like any good contract negotiation fear is a great motivator to get a deal done. If TNA looking for another option it could be something where Fox sports 1 who needs ratings and get eyeballs to the newer American sports channel and they may come in in the last second to get the price on a product that will bring decent righting. If TNA does not find TV than Vince Russo kills another wrestling company as he was responsible for killing WCW and make the WWE the most powerful wrestling company It will bring more eyeballs to ROH and will be destroying wrestling Tom Mehegan

Santino Marella hangs up his wrestling boots

Santino Marella ( Anthony Carelli ) who was billed out of Italy has retired from in-ring performing on Sunday night (July 6Th,2014) in his real hometown of Toronto, Ontario during a local house show. The reason for his retirement because of a third neck injury and he has been a footnote in the WWE for the past few years and even if he got healthy he is still 35-year-old so that he could of been one of the next cuts when they do their next salary dump (thanks WWE network). He had a mid-card career and got over with the fans as they loved his skits and the cobra but it started with a bang as he was picked out of the crowd in Milan, Italy by Mr. McMahon take on the late Umaga for the Intercontinental title and won. He had great relationships with divas especially Beth Phoenix who overpowered Marella and he had a relationship Maria as well as a short relationship with Emma and even Tamina as well. He had entertaining tag teams Beth Phoenix, Vladimir Kozlov, Zach Ryder, and the Great Khali and it was a very funny guy to team with as well. He had a funny skits with the IC title and trying to beat the Honky Tonk Man's 64 week reign and had the Honky meter. He was a great mid-card act and he will be missed but he will be very busy with his gym in his hometown of Mississauga. He maybe back time to time in the WWE with special appearance especially in Toronto Tom Mehegan
