What could Brain Murray do as The Maple Leafs GM
What could a guy who can phone the GM of the Avalanche and say lets trade under achieving goalies (Brain Elliot for Craig Anderson) or wakes up one morning and realizes that his teams captain (Daniel Alfredsson) is bailing on the team and turning around almost immediately and trading for Bobby Ryan. Also turning a trade demand (Danny Heatley) into at least a 30 to 40 point player for 4 of 5 seasons while the demanding player has already moved on while also a contract dispute elsewhere (Kyle Turris) and getting him at a bargain (David Rundblad).
This guy is Brain Murray who is the GM of the Ottawa Senators but if he was the Toronto Maples GM with 8 million dollar extra as the Sens sit 8 million dollars under the cap. What could he have gotten for Dion Phaneuf at the trade deadline instead of signing long-term (7 seasons) as the No. 1 D-man of a team that allows almost 36 shots a game and leave the goalies high and dry regularly might not be the kind of player tie yourself to. Also when he realizes early in the season that the back end simply sucking what kind of magic would he use to change the style of the back end to change the team future so that the goalies would of been put in a better position to get the team into the playoffs instead OF THE Habs being the only team north of the border in the 2013-14 NHL playoffs.
Could Brain Murray been able to figure out how to get a guy like P.K. Subban in the blue and white when the Habs were low balling him during the 48 game shorten season of 2012-13.
I feel that a lot that Brain Murray touches turns into gold and even as a guy that tapped out on the team a long time ago I still believe the fans deserve a whole lot better than get

Ultimate Warrior dies
The Ultimate Warrior who officially changed his name to Warrior in 1993 has past on at the age of 54 Tuesday less than 24 hours after getting into a WWE ring for the first time in almost 20 years.
It comes as a complete shock that he died so shortly after returning to the WWE as he was inducted into the WWE hall of Fame Saturday, goes to WrestleMania Sunday, Gets into a WWE ring and thanks the fans Monday, and is gone Tuesday.
He was a huge WWE superstar in the late eighties and early nineties with his face paint, the running to the ring, shaken the ring ropes, and his crazy speaks and will truly be missed by the WWE universe.
It is also kind of crazy thinking about the Undertaker losing at Mania Sunday night and thinking that the only kind of other reaction compared to the shock and ah of the crowd would been up in the 500 level of the Skydome in Toronto on April 1St, 1990 as an almost 14 year old watching The Warrior pin Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI and not able to believe it actually happened.
Then Tuesday afternoon talking to a co-worker at work and saying that AJ Lee losing the title to Paige was like the greatest intercontinental champion of all time Honky Tonk Man @ the first Summer Slam in 1988 calling out anyone in the locker room and Warrior comes down to the ring and pins him in 10 seconds.
Papa Shango (past known as the Godfather) putting a heck on the Warrior and red goo coming and of Warrior's hat and running down his face that made him vomit in strange colors in a short return to WWF in 1992.
His last big angle was in 1998 where he would talk into a mirror about his One Warrior Nation that was setup to get Hulk Hogan his win back from Warrior from WrestleMania.
Warrior could of been a much bigger star but he would constantly have disputes with Vince McMahon over money after he lost the World title @ Rumble '91 and left the company after that year's Summer slam. He would make a short return to the WWF @ Rumble '92 as he vanishing in November of that year to reappear @ WrestleMania 8 to face triple H in 1996 and only lasting four month while made his first Raw appearance April 8TH, 1996 which 18 years to the day that he died.
Like most wrestlers of that time they mixed steroids with rec drugs and alcohol and just like others it destroyed the Warrior's heart

Undertaker is 21-1 @ WrestleMania
The Undertaker @ WrestleMania 30 faced Brock Lesnar which was based on real anger towards each other after Lesnar last UFC fight where Taker was ring side and after the match they got into each other faces.
The WWE did not use this real feud in the build up for the match and had Paul Heyman talking about Lesnar breaking the streak and it actually happened when Lesnar put Taker into his third F5 and everybody thought that Taker would kick out and when the Ref counted three everybody stunned . After the match they had the camera on the stunned crowd with different fans in complete shock and it took Taker a few minutes to get up on his feet and was given a standing o and was by himself and left the ring by himself.
It was a stunning moment and took the crowd out of the rest of the night til Daniel Bryant won the world title that got a huge pop and a great yes chant. The Undertaker loss puts a road block in front of the next Taker match which would of been Sting at WM 31 next April in the San Francisco area but Taker will be going into the hall and so will Sting so they could have the first Inductee vs inductee match at WrestleMania.
It was a bad move for the WWE as it takes a lot of the shine of Taker but it could of been decided when they went face-to-face @ UFC because The Wrestling Observer said that Taker had promised that he would lose to Brock at Mania.
The streak started at
WM 7 VS Jimmy Snuka,
WM 8 VS Jake Roberts,
WM 9 VS Giant González (the only DQ finish),
WM 11 VS King Kong Bundy
WM 12 vs Diesel,
WM 13 vs Sycho Sid,
WM 14 and 20 vs Kane,
WM 15 vs Big Boss Man,
WM 17, WM 27-28 vs Triple H,
WM 18 VS Nature boy Ric Flair
WM 19 VS Big Show and A train,
WM 21 VS Randy Orton,
WM 22 Vs Mark Henry,
WM 23 VS Batista,
WM 24 VS Edge,
WM 25 and 26 VS HBK,
WM 29 VS CM Punk,
WM 30 VS Lesnar (the loss).
It will be interesting to where they go with Lesnar
