Albert Pujols has a World Series game for all time

Albert Pujols had a game of the ages in Game 3 of the 2011 World Series as went 5 for 6 with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs and finished with 14 total bases in Cardinals destruction of the Rangers as Pujols tied or set a number of records for a single World Series game.

three home runs tied the record for most home runs in a World Series game as Reggie Jackson a.k.a. Mr. October did the feet in the clinching game 6 of the 1977 World Series and the Babe who did it not once but twice as he did it in 1926 and 1928.

He also tied the record for most RBIs with 6 tying Hideki Matsui who did it in Game 6 of the 2009 and Bobby Richardson who did it in Game 3 of the 1960 World Series.

He tied the record for most hits in a World series Game tying Paul Molitor who did it in Game 1 of the 1982 World Series as a Milwaukee Brewers.

He set a number of World Series records as is the first player in history to get a hit in four consecutive innings in a World Series game as he had a single in the fourth and fifth innings and followed that up with home runs in the sixth and seventh innings.

He is also the first player in history to ever collect 14 total bases in a World Series game.

So with all that said Albert Pujols came into the game last night with a 8 for 36 with 10 RBIs and his only other World Series homer lead to the Cardinals beating the Detroit Tigers and more interesting he came into the game with a 0 for 6 in the first two World Series games in 2011 and had a number of reporters saying that he had snubbed them after game 2 of the World Series on Thursday night.

Now he is going to be the most interesting free agent after this World Series as he will try to break another record by becoming the first 30 million dollar man in baseball history and there will be suiters that will get somewhat close in the likes of the Cardinals, the Cubs, and maybe even the Texas Rangers.

Lets see if he can do it again
