Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks are a solid team and have learned to play defense finally and Dirk Nowitzki was being over powering the defense and putting up huge points as he has 40 point game in the Western Conference Final against the Thunder. He also has gotten stronger throughout the playoffs with a dominating performance on the defense boards in the Western Semi-final against the Lakers as he had 13 defensive boards in game one to set the tune for the four game sweep and then set the tune in the Thunder series with a 48 point performance in game one to set the tune for the series and then put the separation between the Mavs and Thunder with a 40 point game in game four to give the Mavs a 3-1 series lead.
The Mavs defensively did not give up 100 points until they were in the Western Conference Final against the Thunder and have dominated everyone as they took control of home court as they were 7-1 @ home while also not messing around on the road as they are 5-2 on the road.
Jason Kidd has been extra motivated this post season with 7.7 assists and 10 points a game and the Mavs are happy that MJ decided to NOT send Tyson Chandler to Toronto as he leads the Mavs on the boards with 9.3 a game.
Miami Heat
The Miami have been taken out all their opponents in 5 games with only given up 100 points in a game since this post season which was the opener against the Bulls in the Eastern Conference Final and then finished them off in 4 straight games after the first game loss and LeBron James when defending MVP Derrick Rose he held him to 6% shooting. He had over 20 points in 4 of 5 games in each round and dominated Sixers on the boards as he had a 15 boards game, 14 boards game and 10 boards game while having a 35 points and 14 boards game in game 4 against to help the Heat take a 3-1 lead against the Celtics and then put out with a 33 points to elimination the Bulls as he scored 9 of the 16 straight points the Heat scored to end the game. He has a average 26 points, 8.9 boards, and 5.5 assists while Dwayne Wade has averaged 23.7 points, 7.2 boards, and 4.1 assists and Chris Bosh 18.6 points, 8.9 boards, and 1.1 assists but the big three is scoring mosr of the points for the Heat.
Dirk has been unstoppable and I do not know if Lebron James can control him because Dirk is a bit bigger than Lebron James and the Mavs choked and also the Refs screwed them as well and Mark Cuban has kept his mouth shut during the entire playoffs up to the NBA championship because he just like the Mavs players he understands that this is probably most of their last kicks at the can. So that is why I am hoping that they will win the championship as the Heat are only a 3 headed monster with nothing else behind them so they will build a bit better bench in the next couple seasons which means that they will have a few more chances at the can. In the end the only way the Heat ein is if Lebron is able to take control of the games and put up huge numbers to out play Dirk.
Lets hope for a good NBA Final
