UFC 129 pre-sale tickets, Senators grant Carrie Underwood a wish, Jerry Salon out as Jazz coach

UFC pre-sale went on sale today and all 42,000 + seats for the event sold out which is a very telling sign of the interest of the UFC in Toronto but there will be more seats on sale for Saturday on sale date and it will probably about 25,000 seats if not more than that. The end result is that the UFC will set a Skydome/Rogers Centre attendances record which was set by WWF and WestleMania XVIII with over 68,000 seats sold.

The Ottawa Senators trade Carrie Underwood's husband (Mike Fisher) to the Nashville Predators which is where Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher live and it should better the Predators # 5 seed in the Western Conference and the Senators receive a first round draft pick and conditional draft picks. While Carrie Underwood is happy that she does not have to constantly go to Ottawa to see her husband and the tag line in Nashville is the Predators trade for Carrie Underwood in hope of maybe get some cross over fans.

Jerry Salon and the Utah Jazz have gone their separate ways days after Salon had agreed to another year on his contract but last night he had altercation with Star player Deron Williams who called his own play in the first half of Wednesday night game and Salon was angry about this and they butted heads @ half-time as the Jazz lost their 10 in their last 14 as they are 16-18 in their last 34 games after starting the season 15-5. He started coaching in 1988 and this then the LA Clippers have had 13 head coaches during this time but the hall of fame coach is missing something on his mantle and that is a championship that slipped through his fingers when he had players like Carl Malone and John Stockton but still had 1221 wins most the Jazz (also coached the Bulls from 1979 to 1982 whhen he entered the Jazz organization as a scout).
