Steve Kouleas is back at tsn, Ti-Cats will be back in a rebuilt Ivory Winn Stadium and the new owner of the Sebres wants them back in the Stanley Cup Finals

Steve Kouleas is bring some real programming to TSN 2 every weekday as he is doing That's hockey 2nite which is TSN's attempt to go head to head with Sportsnet's hockey central tonight and it is also a caps off That's hockey with Gino Reda that goes on at the beginning of the night of hockey telling the kinds of stories that may happen in that nights hockey games. That's hockey 2nite will focus on the results of the majority of the games of the night as in like everything except the late games and Kouleas is no stranger to doing hockey talk as he was the hockey guy on the score for years and had a Saturday night gig on the score going through every game on a busy Saturday night in hockey. He was at the Score for 13 years and before that he had been working with TSN in the mid-90's so it is a homecoming and I believe if they put the kind of effort as they have around the Canadian Juniors TSN 2 will be taking some people away from the competition over at the hated sportsnet who to counteract the move have put a second edition of hockey central @ 1 AM to get the whole picture for the west coast. It should be interesting to see how this all works out as without a doubt in my mind Kouleas will be doing a hockey show during lunch time as the Fan as an edition of hockey central on at that time with TSN radio comes on the air in April.

The Hamilton Ti-Cats have come to arrangement with the city of Hamilton Ontario to rebuild their stadium in 2012 and will probably playing out of the Rogers Centre in Toronto Ontario or a stadium in-between Hamilton and Toronto for the year. It was a horrible time for Ti-Cats as they could not come to an agreement on building of a new stadium somewhere in the Hamilton area and I hope coming to an agreement finally keeps the Ti-Cats above the break even point or not lose as much money as they have been.

Buffalo Sabres have a brand new owner Terry Pegula who just sold his energy company East Resources Inc. for 4.7 billions and he has been a season ticket holder for the Sabres for years and his wife grow up in the Buffalo area. Terry Pegula hopefully turns around the franchise getting the team closer to the salary cap maximum and get back in the playoff picture and challenge for the eastern conference final in a few years maybe if they go out and get good high price talent unlike the Maple Leafs to go with young stars. It may be a starter for him as he may buy the Buffalo Bills when Ralph Wilson moves on at some point in it.

Have a good one (snow snow everywhere by morning)
