Evgeni Nabokov has problems with an Island, the brilliance of the black and yellow song and a chang to the Pro Bowl

Evgeni Nabokov was claimed off waivers by the New York Islanders after signing a deal with the Detroit Red Wings after spending a couple of month in the KHL but because he had signed with the KHL he had to clear waivers to join the Red Wings and for some strange reason it was the Islanders who claimed him. The big story is that he has not wanted to go to Long Island and now the Islanders are now suspending him for not showing up and the reason that he wanted to come back is to have a chance at winning the Stanley Cup which he can do in Detroit but not on the Island. The only reason the Islanders claimed him is because they want a draft pick which would be a third or fourth draft pick at best which is just horrible and makes the Islanders franchise look even worst when the team is the lowest of the low in the NHL.

Wiz Khalifa the performer of the hit song "black and yellow" made a very good business decision by having people in his video waiving the Pittsburgh Steelers "terrible towels" which makes the song go from a hit song to a hit song that is the theme song for a team in the upcoming superbowl in 2 weeks. Which will give the song a lot more air play on the radio and on TV which will drive up the songs iTunes downloads and having the song dropped from the night club playlist in New York City last week in support of the New York Jets who played and lost to the Steelers on Sunday.

The NFL made a very good decision to have the Pro bowl in the week between the conference championships and the superbowl which a change from having it the week after the superbowl when nobody is interested in it. The Pro bowl will have more of an audience because people will be somewhat interested while waiting the extra week for Superbowl XXXXV and to have it on Fox instead of ESPN is a great idea as well because more people have FOX than ESPN.

Have a Good Night
