Manitoba grocery prices sicking to see

Northern Manitoba has extremely high grocery prices in an Inuit community in Nunavut, Manitoba and are not 5 or 10% increase or double normal prices but instead it is 400-500% on a bag of apples that are priced at 15 dollar while what would be a 2 dollar jug of water is 12 dollars and surprise surprise they do not have water coming from a sink. The only reasonable priced product is milk which is where a 5 dollar carton of milk goes for 7 dollars and the grocery store gets a subsidence from the Canadian Government. If someone has a baby and need diapers they can get 84 for 73 dollars which is a 500% increase and have they want fresh fruit they can buy red peppers for 17 dollar/kilogram which is completely outrageous and something needs to be done because someone is making huge bucks as they are the only show around and people spend 600 dollars on groceries a week when most people could spend for high quality products may spend 150 or 175 for the same stuff.

It is extremely bad example of capitalism and the government needs to step in and correct the prices because I do not care if the products need to be flown in instead of driven in but the prices still should not be anywhere near where they are right now. It also shows how greedy some people can be and their profits are never high enough for them and it is completely sick and they do not need government assistance but someone needs to step in and simply correct the prices.

If it was going on in other places in North America things would have been changed a long time ago just like in Ontario, Canada when they put a watch dog in to bring down the price of gas
