mlb cracking down on PEDs and may take down big names
In a strip mall in Miami lots of baseball players have been found what they needed to be the best baseball player they could be by using PEDs (performance enhancement Drugs) and now Major League Baseball is going after them extremely hard to write the wrong that happened in the late 80's and the 90's when they buried their head in the sand.
So the names are very juicy and the big bull of the investigation is the Milwaukee Brewers's Ryan Braun who they had dead to right on a PED charge and because they had something happen to the sample and he got away scot-free and they had egg all over face and since this happen they have wanted something on him. So with Biogenesis's Tony Boesch who is in huge legal problem is willing to hand over his little black book and when baseball gets that little black book in their hands and will be able to pin it on a guy like Braun as the baseball PA lost their mind as they have agreed to allow the commissioner to suspend players without positive tests.
The guy looking at losing the most is free ageng with t Robertson Cano who would of been looking at 20-25 mil a season over 6 or 7 seasons at least and he is in Boesch's little black book and he fall into the fate of Melky Cabrera who was looking at big money as he was on MVP candidate but when he was suspended for the last 50 games of last season and ended up getting 16 million over two seasons with the Jays. Melky is also named in the little black book along with Bartolo Colon who got suspended near the end of last season and both maybe safe as they may have no recent purchases of PEDs and may not get their strike two which is a 100 game suspension and a step away from being banned from baseball a third strike.
Also a guy like A-Rod who was on pace to break Barry Bonds's home run record and now the Yanks are looking for anyway to get away from his contract and Nelson Cruz who had great seasons with help from former friend Josh Hamilton and now maybe taken a 50 game break and if the MLB has a say it will be a strike two for the guys on the list meaning they can not mess up again or they are out of baseball.
Also Nationals ace pitcher Gio Gonzalez who with a 21-9 record got some CY Young votes and lead the Nationals out of nowhere to the playoffs.
In the end big names will fall but how the PA will allow the comish to rule with a iron fist with a piece of paper from a shady guy in Tony Boesch especially if money went from hand-to-hand it will not stand.
Baseball has the right idea but in the end PEDs will always be a step ahead of testing so good luck
