NFL has 3 turkeys for thanksgiven day games

The first of the three turkeys is New England Patriots Vs. Detroit Lions

The Patriots are a very good team and the addition from subtraction of Randy Moss has made the Patriots and even better as they are 8-2 and they put up a lot of points this season (average 28.9/game) and are 3-2 away from home. While the Detroit Lions are still trying to get to respecible as a franchise because they are 2-8 but have only given up 3 more points than they have scored this season and are 2-2 at home.

The game should be won by the Patriots but they did go to Cleveland and laid a huge egg aganist the browns so if the Patriots take the Lions lightly they could be had by the Lions.

The Second Turkey should of been a very good game but the Dallas Cowboys fell down hard early with a 1-7 record when Wade Phillips was fired and the Cowboys since then they are 2-0 but they are facing the New Orleans Saints who started very slowly but are now still 7-3 and most impressively 4-1 on the road. The Saints are still go on offense but the defense is not getting as many turnovers as they did last year and the Cowboys are way more productive since the coaching change.

The Saints are the better team eventough the Cowboys have been better and the Saint play better away from home while the Cowboys have only 1 win at new Cowboys stadium and the way the Cowboys can win is by having an all around game and the Saints who have not played before on thanksgiven are not upto the task.

The biggest Turkey of all are the Cincinnati Bengals who are playing aganist the New York Jets who are tied with the Patriots for the AFC East title and the New York Jets should have no problem with the Bengals with the best points aganist in the AFC and Mark Sanchez is finding ways to win games like the last second TD pass to beat the Jaguars. While the Bengals were looking for big things from Terrell Owens and Chad Oco and Carson Palmer and they have not come through this season especially Palmer who has lost some of the ablity to throw the ball.

The Jets should win easy because the Bengals look like they have folded like a cheap suit especially last week when they were up on the Bills by 21 and lost by 18 at the end and the only way the Bengals win is that they play as a team and the Jets who are 3-2 at home do not show up.
