Selena Gomez fails to break out of the disney shadows
So Selena Gomez for some reason or another that being apart of a somewhat more realistic look at what happens on spring break was a good idea and signed onto be apart of the movie "spring breakers". The thing that Miss Gomez is trying to do is shad the image of being in the Disney machine or simply get some sun by getting out of the shadows of the Disney franchise that many have tried and maybe one or two actually have succeed in doing.
In the movie Gomez really does not changed as she is a devoted Christian that get their money for the trip by her friends holding up a restaurant as she sits driving a car that they got "borrowed" from a professor that does not know about. When they get to St. pete's she is talking with her grandma and saying how get it is and that they should come down together next year while the visuals of bobbies and drinking is shown. When her and her four fiends end up in jail and then get bailed out by a sleazy but not so bright con man played by James Franco Gomez immediately says I want out and is on the first bus back to college. At that point Gomez should just move on and count her money because the movie was not for her attendance and really did not help her and not time she needs to find a better character to play and not be the center of attention and maybe just like her choice of moving away from the soon-to-be train wreck known as Justin Bieber it will be a great choice.
So I hope that Selena becomes the next Shia LaBeouf's who got out of the shadows of Disney's Even Stevens by being apart of Disturbia and then getting the job of a lifetime in the Transformers movie. Instead of the next Vanessa Hudgens who has gone from the Fame of High school Musical to being apart of this movie and getting out out just before the sex scenes start by being shot and sent on the next buss back to college where she wonders if she will ever be an adult star and it has already been 5 years since the end of the music.
The movie in the end was supposed to be a drama but Franco and his guns turn it into a comedy enough said
