WWE Network is not good for business
On the surface getting WrestleMania 30 and Summer Slam '14 for 60 dollars (10 dollars each month min. 6 month) but when u think that the WWE is not putting WrestleMania on PPV where they probably get 900,000 to a million buys at 60 dollars each it will bring the profit down huge. It will not effect the likes of John Cena or Randy Orton who will get their millions but for guys like Golddust, Cody Roades, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, and the Divas who need the Mania bonuses to make ends meet will not be getting them after WrestleMania 30.
This is because after this Mania which will be on PPV internationally so they will still make their millions and the mid card will get their important bonuses it will be tough times as 10 dollars is a lot less than the 25 or 30 dollars that the WWE take home for each PPV buy.
WrestleMania may never be the same again and that will go for all PPV shows as the focus will go from the TV building towards PPV matches to having the PPV leading to TV storyline because the bigger money will be from TV revenue. This is because the WWE are looking for big increases in their TV contracts for Raw and Smackdown which are ending soon and they are hoping that the live TV is must see live like sporting events whose TV revenues have sky rocked.
The WWE network because it take away all PPV buys will mean that they will need a million subscribers to break even and for a non TV product that will be everywhere else like ipads, computers/laptops, video game system buts it will still be extremely difficult to make it reality.
6 weeks before wrestling changes and maybe not for the better
